Mission Statement

Southeast Nebraska CASA recruits, trains and supports community volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children in the Seward, Saline, Thayer, and Jefferson County court system.

History

Seward County CASA started serving children in Seward County in 1996. We expanded to Jefferson County in November 2011 and started Seward County DBA Southeast Nebraska CASA in 2012.  Next we expanded to Saline County in July of 2014.  Finally we expanded to Thayer County in October 2015.

We became Southeast Nebraska CASA in 2017.  We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, and we rely on community volunteers and donations. Southeast Nebraska CASA is a member of the Nebraska CASA Association as well as the National CASA/GAL Association.
